I would love to support you and partner (if you have one) on your journey to the birth of your baby. I am able to provide continuity of care and you can contact me for support from the time of booking. I will be there to answer any questions you may have and provide you with evidence-based information, so that you are aware of all your options and are able to make informed decisions about your care and the care of your baby. I can also advocate for you, as we will discuss your wishes for the birth and if you would like me to, I am able to communicate these with medical and health care professionals.

For pregnancy and birth support I provide:

Email, phone and WhatsApp support from the time of booking.

At least two visits to your home before the birth of your baby for up to 2 hours, so that we can get to know each other and discuss your birth preferences and hopes and wishes for the birth.

A personalised birth preference document detailing all your wishes.

‘On-call’ from when you are 38 weeks pregnant until your baby is born, any time of day or night.

Support through labour and birth at home or at hospital.

Guidance and support with baby’s first feed and what to expect in the following days.

Visit at home once after the birth – usually within the first ten days, to discuss the birth and help with anything you may need.

Additional antenatal and postnatal visits can be arranged and you can book me for postnatal support, ensuring complete continuity of care, throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.

“Anna is gentle and kind and always listened to my needs and supported me to the best of her ability. I would highly recommend her to other mothers because of my positive experience. Anna came every day to support me looking after my new born. I was also struggling with breastfeeding and she supported me. She was very helpful in all aspects.”
